ESMEF Annual Events
The ESM Education Foundation Golf tournament is held the second Sunday in September at the Links at Erie Village in East Syracuse. This tournament draws some serious, and some not so serious, golfers throughout the ESM community and beyond. Many of the golfers are district employees, community business partners and, of course, parents of ESM Students.
Chaired by the Ed Foundation Treasurer, Pat Federico, the golf tournament is the Foundations most profitable fund raiser.
The Foundation's Annual Golf Tournament will be on Sunday, 9/9/18 at 10:00 am (new earlier time!). Below are the forms to sign up for the event, and for sponsors. Feel free to pass these forms on to anyone whom you think might be interested in attending or sponsoring. The Golf tournament is always a great time and raises funds that go right back to ESM in the form of grants.
2016 Spooktacular: Saturday October 29, 2016 ❗️ CANCELLED❗️ 12:00 -3:00 at ESM HS
Each October the Education Foundation hosts a family friendly "Spooktacular" held in the High School Gymnasiums and sponsored by DECA. One gym is transformed in to a haunted house designed and organized by the Spartan Stage drama students. Depending on the age of the kids entering the Haunted House there are different "levels of scariness" through which they are guided.
In the other gym, a variety of games and activities for kids and their parents are designed and run by ESM High School students and teachers. Several costume contest's are held during the afternoon and kids can "trick or treat" throughout the day as well!
The Spooktacular is a great community event brining parents and kids together in a safe environment for Halloween. Contact ESMEF for details.
Annual Dinner Dance: Saturday March 24, 2018 7:00 pm at The Links at Erie Village
The ESM Education Foundation's annual dinner dance, chaired by Ed Foundation Board Member Susan Cain, has become a very popular, fun filled night of entertainment, dining and dancing.
This year's theme is "An Evening in Paris" at the Links at Erie Village in East Syracuse.
In 2014 and 2016 the dinner dance incorporated the newly formed ESM Wall of Distinction. The Wall of Distinction recognizes distinguished alumni, staff and community members of the East Syracuse Minoa School District who demonstrate the importance of making a contribution to our society, community or a field of work. The next Wall of Distinction induction will be at 6PM before the 2018 7PM dinner.
